Tumblr is not the forum to go into detail about the situation, but basically Chris Christie is supporting a measure that kicks Rutgers, the state university, out of South Jersey, and he’s doing it purely as a political reward for the South Jersey pols who supported his agenda. That’s the only reason—there is no local demand to kick Rutgers out of South Jersey, quite the opposite in fact.
